A team made up of French speaking educators and kind and empathetic staff

Our team is made up of French speaking registered early childhood educators, assistant educators, our administration team, and a dedicated parent-led board.

We strive to be recognized as the premier French-speaking care service in the region, focused on ensuring our children and their parents proudly feel a sense of belonging to Village d'Élisabeth.

Our aim is for children to feel safe, loved, and in good hands, growing with confidence as they embark on their education in the French-language school system and successfully preparing for the transition to Mère-Élisabeth-Bruyère School.

Our purpose

To provide families in the Waterloo region with childcare services that are both educational and fun in a safe, French-speaking environment for children aged 18 months and over.

Mission

Vision

We want to be recognized as the best French-speaking childcare service in the region, where:

  • Our children and their parents feel proud of their belonging to the Village d’Élisabeth;

  • Our children feel safe, loved and in good hands: the hands of friends, educators and resource people;

  • Our children emerge grown and confident at their beginnings in the French-speaking school system;

  • Our children are successfully preparing for their move from Village d'Élisabeth to the Mère-Élisabeth-Bruyère school.

Objectives

  • Be part of the continuity of the family environment and be the link with the school environment;

  • Make our childcare services accessible to less advantaged families who are eligible for subsidies;

  • Provide schoolchildren with before and after-school care services in a safe and stimulating environment;

  • Promote our culture by offering children an enrichment of their mother tongue or by teaching them the French language.
